Final assembly. Let’s light it up!
Posted by: | CommentsI kept telling myself I only needed one good night, and I could get my project done. Well ladies and gentlemen… I’ve just had one good night. So, without further hesitation, here is everything that brought me up to the finale.
I carefully marked out where I would have to cut my hole for the USB cable. I little time with the good ol’ Dremel got the hole right where I needed it.

Posted by: | CommentsAnother day, another huge update. I thought I would take more time getting this project done, but as it turns out, I’m pretty impatient. I hardly got any sleep last night. I kept thinking I would get just one more thing done. Well, indeed I did. Sometime early this morning, exhaustion and a blurry vision took over, and I stopped to get a few hours of sleep before work. So, like the many that have gone before me, and like the many that will follow, my project begins. Will I triumph against the evil that is OEM? Or will I crash and burn? My geek hopes and dream dashed in a seemingly unexplained ball of smoke and flame… Only time will tell.
Without further delay, I present the humble beginnings of Project Alpha Blue…
This is how it all began. While browsing FrozenCPU’s website, I came across this little object of desire.
