Losias Live test update
ByI made a little time this afternoon for a live streaming test. From the feedback I received, I realize there are a few small changes I need to make. The biggest of which, is lighting quality. While the workbench appears to have plenty of light in person, once on camera it appears a little different. It’s spotty, and there are some distracting shadows. I plan on using track, and multiple lighting sources to fix the problem. Look for that to be implemented in the next week or two.
From what I could tell, the picture quality seemed pretty decent. I’m using a Microsoft webcam for the time being, and am looking at several 720p cameras to replace it. There’s no doubt a little detail missing at the moment, but I think I’m headed in the right direction. If it’s not bad now, it will only get better.
For any of you who did catch the stream, please feel free to comment on any other changes I could make. This is completely new territory for me. I’m open to to anything that could improve quality and usefulness.
Craig,
One of the guys I do minibike choppers with has a shop webcam here:

It’s on all the time. I can ask what cam he uses and his setup. The guy actually leaves the workbench! Can you imagine that?
john
I would appreciate you asking John.
I checked a few times today, and wasn’t able to catch him. I’m very interested in seeing how other people pull this off. Leaving the workbench? Lol, slacker!
